YGG and a New Wreath

Ada girl loves her Yo Gabba Gabba. She completely tunes out everything when I turn it on. Yesterday, I was on Youtube and played some clips of YGG for her. She was in a trance.

I thought we would last, but someone in the house has gotten sick. Hopefully not the Swine Flu.
Poor baby Ada has the worst cold. She was up until an unreasonable hour last night due to it.
It has clogged up her nose so bad that this morning I couldn't even see up into her nose.
Plus, I woke up feeling a little under the weather as well. So, we are staying home from church today.

Anyway, last night, since we were awake so late, I made a new wreath. After this one fell, the door was looking a little bare.
So, a new (and very cheap, thanks to DI) winter wreath is born.

Get it? The bird, the wreath nest, our last name is Lark.

November 6th

Today I am thankful for this bundle of sweetness. Isn't she the cutest? Maybe I'm biased.

Baby girl decided to go on a sleep strike this week. Finally last night she slept from 8:00 to 7:00. Thank goodness, cause I was going a little crazy.

She probably weighs about 15 lbs now... getting to be so big. But still is wearing 3-6 month clothes... even 0-3 months occasionally.

She crawls everywhere... like a mad woman. Then pulls herself up on everything. Now, she is starting to walk while holding on to the coffee table.

I'm trying to push pause... but it's not working.

Costumes and Decorations

This year I made Taylor dress up with me. We watch about 5 episodes of Seinfeld a day so I thought our costumes were fitting. Seriously, we are almost through all the seasons.

I made this wreath a while ago. It is made of real apples from a tree out front. It fell about a hour after I hung it on the door...
and the apples went everywhere. But I thought it was still cute.

And this last picture is for Debbie. Did you make yours?

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! Have fun trick-or-treating! We are off to a party.

Our little lady bug just happens to be 7 months old today! We love her so much!

I will give you an update on her stats in a later post.

Thanks Grandma Lark for her costume... I think she is the cutest little lady bug!

Cries

I have learned one thing about Ada this week... She really is very stubborn. I have been trying to let her cry herself to sleep, but the girl won't give up. She pulls herself up in her crib, and screams and screams. I don't know if it really is that good for her. Poor little girl.

Chelsea said she must have gotten her stubbornness from me. Great.

Walk

The other night we all went for a walk to the Sev after dinner. Taylor skated and Chelsea, Ada, and I strolled and took pictures.

Other Random Happenings

Here are just a few pictures of little things going on in the house.

Ada has learned how to pull herself up in her crib...

And, thanks Grandma Lark for the new Halloween jammies and my super sweet Halloween costume. You'll have to wait to see that one though.

Cornbelly's

Last night we went to Cornbelly's at Thanksgiving Point. We had a grand time getting lost in the corn maze, jumping on the pillow, and racing little tractors. It was fun to be with everyone too. Even Ada loved it. It got a little difficult with the stroller in the maze though.. but we survived.

I caught these this morning right after she woke up. Ada is slowly learning to crawl. She can crawl backwards and army crawls to get where she wants to go.

Baby Dresses

Right after Ada was born, my mom gave me some of my baby dresses. I figured they might fit Ada now. The blue one is actually little small.... but it still looks so cute. I love these dresses and they look so sweet on Ada.

Conference Weekend

Gigi and Papa came up for conference and Ada loved being with them... as did Taylor and I. We had a lot of fun just hanging out and watching conference with family and friends. It was good.

Ada girl turns six months today. I can't believe it has been half a year since she came into the world. She truly is the happiest baby. I love being with her all day long, and miss her when she is down for naps or when she goes to bed at night. She has taught me how to be a mom and for that I will always be thankful for.

At 6 months, Ada:

- loves to play in her saucer that grandpa steve and grandma lark got her. Seriously, its keeps her entertained for a long, long time.
- is all over. She rolls all over and finds things to put in her month. (I now vacuum every night.)
- poops everyday instead of every other day.
- eats fruits and veggies.
- laughs and giggles all day long.
- is my side kick.... goes where ever I go.
- Sits up with ease.
- Still wears 3-6 month clothes.
- is starting to grow a little more hair... and it's brown. sorta.
- finally has feet big enough to wear socks.
- weighs 13 lbs and is 23 inches long. (5th percentile)
- will go to anyone. If you want to hold, she's fine with it.

I love her more than anything, and would do anything for her. She is my little person.

I'm so flattered.... and thrilled.

I liked this

I liked this jumper. And thought, "I could make that." But I couldn't find a pattern. But that didn't stop me. Just made one myself.
